The Role
This full-time leadership role offers:
- Leadership Responsibilities: You will be responsible for overseeing and mentoring a small team of Occupational Therapists, providing clinical guidance and support. You will also assist with case management, report reviews, and professional development.
- Flexible Options: Full-time role, with flexibility to work in a hybrid model – remote work for reporting and administration, alongside providing clinical support in the community.

- Diverse Caseload: Lead a team and work across various community settings, including schools, group homes, and clients’ homes.
- Clinical Oversight: While overseeing your team, you’ll also maintain a smaller caseload and take on assessment, therapy planning, and intervention responsibilities for your own clients.
- Collaboration & Supervision: Provide ongoing supervision to your team members, facilitate collaborative team meetings, and ensure high-quality service delivery across the board.
Leadership Responsibilities Include:
- Team Management & Mentorship: Lead a team of Occupational Therapists, providing clinical support, mentoring, and ongoing professional development.
- Clinical Guidance: Oversee the team’s assessments, therapy plans, and interventions, ensuring they meet high standards and align with best practice guidelines.
- Reporting & Documentation: Ensure all reports and progress documentation are thorough, accurate, and completed on time.
- Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and support within your team.

Who We Are Looking For
- AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Previous leadership or senior clinical experience, with a passion for mentoring and developing a team.
- A passion for working with people with disabilities (NDIS experience is preferred but not essential).
- Paediatric and/or adult experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in a community services setting is a plus.
- A willingness to provide services in community and home settings while supporting your team.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Comfort with IT tools (computer and mobile) and openness to new technologies.
- Fun, energetic, and team-oriented – a natural leader who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle.
