The Role

This is an exciting full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week) opportunity offering:
  • Hybrid Role – Based anywhere in Brisbane, with flexibility to work from home for reporting and administration tasks, while being out in the community for clinical work
  • Diverse Caseload: Work with a range of clients including children and adults in various settings like schools, group homes, and in-home support. Your caseload will allow you to build meaningful relationships with clients and provide tailored, high-quality therapy services.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide comprehensive assessments and develop individualised therapy plans to support communication.
    • Deliver evidence-based intervention and therapy tailored to clients’ needs, supporting progress toward their goals
    • Provide recommendations, therapy planning, and written reports for clients and caregivers
    • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care
    • Support NDIS participants through the planning and implementation of their plans, ensuring a focus on practical outcomes
  • Flexibility and Support: Full flexibility to be based from home to complete reporting and admin tasks, with the option to work from a central office location on a weekly or monthly basis, if preferred.

Who We Are Looking For

  • SPA registration as a Speech Pathologist
  • A passion for working with people with disabilities (NDIS experience is preferred but not essential)
  • Paediatric and/or adult experience is highly desirable
  • Experience in a community services setting is a plus
  • Willingness to provide services in community and home settings
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Comfortable with IT tools (computer and mobile) and open to new technologies
  • Fun, energetic, and team-oriented – we work together and love what we do
  • Driver’s licence and access to your own vehicle
