About the Role

With a strong NDIS focus, you will have the opportunity to tailor the role towards an assessment or therapy-based mixed caseload including Adult and/or Paediatric clients. Services include:
  • Functional / Activities of Daily Living Assessments and Support Needs recommendations
  • Assistive Technology Assessments for people with simple and complex needs and the opportunity to expand your skills/expertise.
  • Fine Motor and Gross Motor therapy
  • Housing needs Assessments including SIL /SDA or ILO accommodation options.
  • 1:1 Therapy – evidence based and goal orientated interventions.
  • 24-Hour seating and positioning assessment and implementation of recommendations
  • Adult Therapy (including group or 1:1 sessions)
  • Manual Handling Assessments and Training
  • Developmental Milestone Assessments for early intervention (0-5) and / or school aged (5-12) children (if you desire a pediatric caseload)
  • Sensory Assessments and Interventions
  • Emotional Regulation and Behavioral strategies working with Parents / Carers / Teachers (in-clinic, homes and schools)

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
  • Must provide a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • Current driver’s license and own vehicle are essential.
  • Current Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
