About the Role:

As the Area Manager – Speech Pathologist, you will lead a team, ensuring they are supported, trained, and held accountable to performance expectations. You’ll collaborate with managers to maintain clinical standards and drive quality outcomes for clients. The role focuses on four key leadership areas:

• Staff Performance: Drive accountability to performance metrics, clinical policies, and procedures.
• Staff Retention: Create a supportive, inclusive culture that promotes teamwork and job satisfaction.
• Staff Development: Implement career development plans to help each clinician achieve their clinical and career goals.
• Clinical Caseload: Lead by example with a clinical caseload, with a minimum expectation of 21 billable hours per week.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager with:

• Proven ability to meet and exceed billable hours/KPI targets.
• Experience maintaining high clinical standards and achieving positive patient outcomes.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills to drive excellence.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• A positive, empathetic, and patient-focused approach.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of clinical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology.
• Current SPA membership.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificate.
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to apply).
• NDIS Worker Check and Satisfactory Police Check.
• Ability to obtain a Medicare Provider Number.
• Willingness to travel and work across multiple sites as required.
